Hello! I am Mr. Jeff Roper. I teach upper level English at Andover High School. I was born in Norman, Oklahoma. I attended Wichita Southeast High School. I also attended the University of Kansas from 1975-1979, and received a BA in English. I attended Wichita State University from 1995-1997, and received a BA in Education. I received my Masters in English from WSU in May of 2003.
My favorite sport is soccer and I formerly coached here at Andover, but stepped down in 2003 so I could watch my son play college soccer. I love to go whale watching and my favorite novel is Moby-Dick, written by Herman Melville.
Climbing a power pole and jumping off it at the Mosey Outdoors Ropes Challenge Course has been the craziest thing I have ever done.My favorite movie is Schindler's List.
