Hello at Home!
Welcome to Kindergarten at Sunflower Elementary School! My name is Regina Harshaw and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am looking forward to working with your child and helping him/her to have a great learning experience in Kindergarten.
I have been in teaching for 12 years. I began my teaching experience with the Wichita School District where I taught six years of all day Kindergarten at Chisholm Trail Elementary. Then I moved to Sunflower where for the past five years, I have taught half day Kindergarten. Last year, I was given the opportunity to move up to first grade and although I enjoyed it very much, I missed Kindergarten so I am very excited to be back.
I am married to Ryan Harshaw, who teaches P.E. and coaches several sports at Andover High School. We are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Brianna (9), and Brittany (4). We also have one pet, a cat named Calista. We have lived here in Andover for twelve years and we are glad to be a part of this wonderful community.
