Mrs. Hying has led an enjoyable life from the beginning. She was born in the fantastic city of Wichita, Kansas.  Mrs. Hying then attended Andale High School, home of the Indians. To further her education, she attended Wichita State University for her bachelors and masters degrees. Her favorite sports to play are softball and volleyball and her favorite sports teams to watch are the Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. When asked if there are any strange facts about herself she stated, "I love to be organized." The craziest thing Mrs. Hying has ever done was drive around her high school track with her friends. Her favorite movie is Something's Got to Give.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." Martin Luther King, Jr.

Mrs. Hying says she loves to teach because students inspire her and bring energy and excitement into her life. She could not imagine life without students to brighten her day.

When Mrs. Hying isn't at school she can be found spending time with her husband, Brad, and her sons, Nicholas and Chase. (who will turn 6 and 2, respectively,  in April)  In the summer you might see her at the batting cages or the driving range or see her with her entire family at their annual trip to the Lake of the Ozarks.

Here is Mrs. Hying's Spring 2009 Schedule:

1st English 2A

2nd English 2A

3rd English 2
