The 39th Annual Trojan Nite was held on September 23, 2006. Trojan Nite is a class competition that is intended to build school spirit, class unity, and serve as a fundraiser for the AHS Student Council. For two weeks prior to the Trojan Nite activities students work together to develop a theme in honor of a Greek God. Each class is given two colors to work with in the design of their theme and must use only those colors for their costumes, float, stand decorations and t-shirt designs. Each class is awarded points for the application of their design and those points are added to points that are accumulated in several field day type events on the evening of Trojan Nite. This year's Senior class won with a total on 190.5 points.
