BOE cookout raises money for scholarships

The Andover Public Schools Board of Education held a barbecue sandwich and hot dog cookout Sept. 8 at the District Stadium. Members of the Board, as well as the Superintendent of Schools, served the meal. A total of $1,235 was raised, which will benefit the Board of Education scholarship fund. Each year the Board selects several seniors from the district to receive scholarships.
