Andover Trojan Football

Information

Parents I am in need of 1 or 2 volunteers to take pictures (Aug. 21st) and/or make picture buttons. I am also needing a couple of helpers to record equipment during checkout on Aug. 14th. If you are interested in doing either of these, please contact me at foxk@usd385.org.

 

**You will need a current physical on file with the office in order to participate on the first day of practice. Physical forms can be downloaded off the AMS website or picked up at the school. Any physical completed after May 1st, 2010 will be accepted for the 2010-2011 school year, so get those in asap. Also, starting this year, there will be a pay to play fee of 50.00 dollars. This needs to be paid to the office before the athlete can participate in practice. 

 

Football Information

Aug. 14 Saturday 8:00 AM-9:00 AM A.M.S. 8th grade helmet and pad check-out
Aug. 14 Saturday 9:00 AM-10:00 AM A.M.S. 7th Grade helmet and pad check-out
Aug. 16 Monday 4:00PM-6:30PM A.M.S. First day of practice (AMS Field. No pads. Just helmets) Aug. 17th and 18th 3:00-5:30.
Aug 19 Thursday 3:00PM-5:30PM A.M.S. First Day in Pads  
Aug 21 Saturday 8:30-11:00 AM  A.M.S. Button pictures and regular practice
Aug 23 Monday 5:15 PM  A.M.S. Parent Meeting for ALL parents
Aug 28 Saturday 9AM-11AM A.M.S. Blue/White “Donation” Scrimmage
Aug. 31 Tuesday 3 PM A.M.S. 14th Team practice (player must attend a min. of 9 practices to participate in first game)
Sept. 2 Thursday 5 PM  First Football Game A.M.S. Vs. A.C.M.S. 7A/8A  (@ South District Stadium)
         

Football teams must have a minimum of 14 days of practice prior to their first game.  Because of this you need to realize that they may have to practice on a Saturday.  

Equipment will be checked out before the first day of practice.

Practice times may vary due to extreme weather conditions.
