District Office Board Room
Introduction
Mr. Evans reviewed the current full time enrollment and the capacity projections, and updated the committee on the current bond projects. The district has acquired a third site for a new elementary building located South of Kellogg on Yorktown St. Encouraged committee members to be ambassadors to parents, staff, and community.
Keturah Austin reviewed the committee’s purpose and norms. The committee has a multi year and multi-movement task before them. We need to consider the student’s needs as first priority. Need to consider a balance of number of students, social economic status, neighborhoods, etc.
