Prints donated for new elementary school

March 12, 2007

Thank you to the Bart and Carmen Dick family for the generous donation of five Blackbear Bosin prints for the new elementary school on 159th Street.  The school is scheduled to open this fall.  The Dick family -- parents Bart and Carmen and children Brodey (5th Grade - Martin), Riley (1st Grade – Martin), Kelsey (7th - AMS), and Gradey, attended the February Board of Education meeting and were thanked by the Board and the administration.  The  prints are valued at approximately $2,300.  The prints are:  "Wichita My Son," "The Challenge," "Death Went Riding," "Night Singer" and "Feather Dancer."  Thanks again to Bart and Carmen Dick and family for this wonderful and much appreciated donation for  the new school.
