Is it 10 o’clock at night and your teenager is asking for help with a math problem? Is that math problem beyond your scope of knowledge? Or is your teenager lost while trying to read The Scarlet Letter for English and you’ve never even heard of the book, much less read it? Well, help is available.
The ACHS library is pleased to announce a new after-school service for students in 4th-12th grades, Homework Kansas.
Homework Kansas is an exciting online tutoring service featuring expert tutors from across the country. Students connect to tutors for one-to-one homework help sessions in an Online Classroom. The service is free for all Kansas students. Students can access the service from home with a Kansas Library Card. It requires a computer with Windows 2000 or above, Flash, and it will not work on Macs. To obtain a card, have your student see Ms. Brown in the Library. Additional information is available at www.homeworkkansas.org.
