Board of Education

Thank You to Our Board of Education Members!

January is School Board Recognition Month

January 14, 2008

The Kansas Association of School Boards recognizes January 2008 as School Board Recognition Month in Kansas.  This is a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our society.

Andover Public Schools is joining with other districts throughout the state to recognize the important contributions board members make to communities.

“Kansans benefit every day from the dedicated energies and countless hours devoted by these public servants,” Superintendent of Schools Mark A. Evans said.  “School

board members unselfishly contribute their time and talents toward the advancement of public education. They represent a continuing commitment to local citizen control and decision making in public education.”

Thank you to the men and women serving our district.  They are:  President Nancy Kirkendoll, Vice President Roger Elliott, and members Jeff Ablah, Dale Graham, Carly Haynes, Dr. Linda Hope and Clare Wilkins.
