Happenings in AMS FACS classes

By Jan Arterburn

Biography: I received my Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University in Vocational Home Economics Education/Clothing & Merchandising.  Additionally, I hold a Master's of Art degree from Wichita State University in Curriculum Education.

I have taught in the Andover School district since 1991.  I am married with one son.  Our family also includes two sweet little dogs.

Grading Scale/Policy: My grading policy is the one stated in the handbook.  My course consists of projects, food labs, tests, quizzes and assignments.

Homework Policy: My expectations, if I assign homework, is that it will completed and turned on the next school day.  There are a few occasions when I give extra credit.  Most of my coursework is done in the classroom so there is very little outside homework.  I am available before school if a student needs to make up work.
