Awesome!!!
Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. I am eager to begin another year with enthusiastic eighth graders! It is my hope that each student will have a positive experience and will develop the skills needed to be successful in his/her future.
I feel honored to be a part of such a dedicated staff, and am grateful to have such a supportive community. I look forward to another rewarding year at AMS!
A little about me:
I am the proud mom of three wonderful children. Brittani, 22, is attending WSU and will graduate in May; Heather, 19, is currently attending BCC on a vocal scholarship, but will transfer to Middle Tennessee State University in December; and Ryan, 18, has traveled back to our home state of Florida to attend St. Petersburg College.
I have a wonderful husband who brought us from the Sunshine State to the Sunflower State! With the exception of the snow, our move has been a positive one. In our spare time we love to travel the Kansas roads and take in the sights. We are also avid country music fans and spend a lot of time in Nashville or attending local concerts.
I have been teaching for seven years, and I can honestly say Andover is an amazing place to be! Both the district and the community value education and what is best for our children. It has been a pleasure teaching here, and I look forward to the years ahead.
