The 2011 Fall tennis season is quickly approaching. I hope you have had a great summer. Some dates and times for you to be aware of.
Please have physicals turned into the office by Friday, August 12. If you do not have a physical on file when we begin try-outs then you cannot participate.
Try-outs will be held Monday, August 15th thru Wednesday, the 17th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This is due to the possibility of that wonderful Kansas heat we have been experiencing. If the temperatures are not going to be as hot then we may go earlier on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thursday, the 18th we will begin practice. Times again are subject to weather. Information will be give to the girls at try-outs on Wednesday. Normal practice time will be 3:00 to 4:30. Hopefully Thursday of Friday we will be able to take care of athletic lockers.
On Monday, the 22nd there will be a parent meeting beginning at 5:15 in the commons. Following the group meeting we will then break out in to the individual fall sports meetings. Tennis will meet in my room (it will be short and sweet).
