Thank you for all the cards and gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week.  I truly do appreciate you all and your children!!!

Reading and Writing

We have finished our basal series, so we are going

to do a unit on Fairy Tales.  We will read a variety of

stories and discuss the elements that make up a fairy

tale.  We will also compare the different fairy tale stories from

from other countries.  We can no longer check out books

from the library, so if you would be willing to share any fairy tales stories you have at home that would be great!!! I can send them back as we read them. I am looking in particular for a copy of Little Red Riding Hood.  Thanks!!

Math

We will continue our review of Unit 10 and take the End-of-the-Year Assessment.  The students have learned so many different concepts this year in Math.  They have done a great job!!
