ELP Explanations & FAQs

The purpose of the Extended Learning Program is to extend learning beyond the general education setting.  Students will be expected to be active participants with positive attitudes.  Project planning is a cooperative effort between teacher and student.

*What does it mean if my student is on consult?

Consult students are not enrolled in an ELP class.  These students are notified and have opportunities to attend enrichment experiences.

*What is the best way to contact Mrs. Riedy?

E-mail is the most efficient means of communication, as Mrs. Riedy is on the move throughout the day.

    Grizzly Adventures

Each year, 8th grade ELP students visit the Grizzly Adventures ropes course on the campus of BCC.  They are put into teams with other Butler County gifted students to complete a day long team building camp.  Check out the slide shows to see what it's all about!
