Legislative Council Welcomes New Leaders

Melinda Fritze and Patty Pullman are the new co-chairs of the Legislative Council. Many thanks to Aleris Charleman and Melanie Bayles for their past leadership and all their help in the transition! Both will continue to be a very active part of the council: Melanie will serve as the primary contact for our legislators, while Aleris will help with marketing efforts and make some legislative contacts.
MEETING
TIMES
We have established consistent meeting times for the year in
hopes that you can make room on your calendars now! We will meet
on the Third Thursday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. at the
Andover Public Schools District Office, 1432 N. Andover Road -
exceptions are noted below. Due to availability of meeting
space, our first meeting is scheduled on the fourth Thursday, Sept
24, from noon to 1 p.m. District Business Manager Jim
Freeman will provide an update for us on the district budget, and
Board of Education member Nancy Kirkendoll will provide legislative
updates.
