Vision

Upon entering Prairie Creek Elementary, you will discover a welcoming and positive climate, where students and adults enjoy coming each day.  Everyone here is assured an inviting, safe and supportive learning environment.

Our students have the opportunity to learn in a school that recognizes their individual needs; encouraging them to be responsible for and participate in their learning.  The staff at Prairie Creek works as a team to ensure that research-based strategies are implemented to deliver meaningful standards-based instruction.  Staff utilizes appropriate resources to create active and hands-on learning experiences.

Positive character development is enhanced, discipline and expectations are consistent and fair, and all children are loved and accepted.  We celebrate our successes and continuously strive toward our goals.

Parental and community support are essential for our strong, cohesive school.  At Prairie Creek there is cooperation and collaboration from the district, staff, parents, community, and students, which make us an effective school.
