Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year! This year the Andover School District approved an additional School Resource Officer (SRO). Assigned to Andover High School is SRO Lance Parker and assigned to Andover Central High School is SRO Randa Wilson-Evans. Both SRO Officers will report to middle and elementary schools for special assignments and calls when needed. For those individuals who are wondering about the last year’s School Resource Officer Don Roberson, he has been promoted to Police Sergeant with the Andover Police Department. As School Resource Officers, our goal is to help provide a “safe learning environment” for students, staff, faculty and administration. We will assist administration and faculty in addressing school/law related problems through prevention and intervention techniques. We will serve as informal counselors as well as educators for school/law related issues by providing resources and education. The contact phone number for SRO Lance Parker is 316-200-4919.
