Andover Public Schools has focused on aligning our curriculum and teaching practices with student success in mind. Our goal is to prepare students for success and through organizational focus, we are creating an aligned system to ensure we reach our goals. In order to accomplish this task, we have organized and aligned our school district focus. The Andover Organizational Focus breaks down our different areas of focus to specifically target student success. Divided into three parts, we are asking ourselves the questions “What do we want students to know and be able to do?”, “How are we going to do this?” and “How are we doing?” in order to measure our impact on student learning.
We are committed to improving student learning and fortunate to have educators who care about our students and schools and who want the best for them. Together, we are working on improving curriculum and instruction for all Andover students. It is our goal to support academic excellence by ensuring that all Andover Public Schools students achieve their personal best.
