Potter & Tyndall Nominated for 2017 Kansas Horizon Award

Congratulations to Andrew Potter and Bethany Tyndall for being nominated for the 2017 Kansas Horizon Award! Bethany just began her second year as a math teacher at Andover Central High School and represents the district as the secondary classroom nominee. Andrew just began his second year as a language arts teacher at Andover Central Middle School and is the elementary nominee for the district. 

The Kansas Horizon Award Program, sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education, identifies and recognizes exemplary teachers who distinguished themselves during their first year of teaching. Nominees are selected by the building principal and district superintendent. Four elementary classroom teachers and four secondary classroom teachers are chosen per region for a total of 32 teachers in the state.
