Help AHS student reach her goal by donating to Soles4Souls

Andover High School senior Amelia Flores has started a local shoe drive to support the global non-profit, Soles4Souls. Her goal is to collect 2,000 pairs of new or gently used shoes for this cause. Soles4Souls distributes the shoes to people in need in an effort to combat poverty. Click here for more information about the organization.

The Wichita Eagle recently published this article about the local shoe drive. It has also attracted national attention, including an interview on Good Morning America.

Shoes of all kinds and sizes can be dropped off at several locations in and around Andover:

  • Andover Central High School
  • Andover Central Middle School
  • Andover Dillon’s
  • Andover High School
  • Andover Middle School
  • Andover State Bank
  • Chapel Hill United Methodist Church
  • Cottonwood Elementary School
  • Martin Elementary School


Deadline to drop off shoes is Dec. 18.
