Andover’s new athletic facilities now have names.

The new stadium that will serve Andover Central High School and Andover Central Middle School will be named Jaguar Stadium. It will be ready for the 2020 fall sports season.

The facility currently known as District Stadium, which has served all secondary schools, will be renamed Trojan Stadium when it becomes the home for Andover High School and Andover Middle School.

These changes were approved Monday at the Andover Board of Education meeting.

In addition, board members approved naming the new tennis facility, which will open in fall 2020, the Andover Public Schools Tennis Complex. The new swimming facility, which will open in 2021, will be named the Andover Public Schools Aquatics Center.

All of the new facilities were approved by voters in May 2017.
