Andover Middle School's Project LINC began with a Skype call. Andover Middle School students called Livingstone Kegode, a teacher in Nairobi, Africa so they could interact with the Nairobi students. During the call, AMS students heard the unfortunate news that one of the pipes in the Nairobi school burst, leaving the students with contaminated water. AMS teachers decided to give 6th and 7th grade students a real-life example of problem solving, and began a cross-curricular project centered on the water contamination problem in Nairobi.
