ESSER Information

Andover Public Schools has received federal allocations through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund. Below is a brief summary of how the district has used or plans to use those funds.

ESSER I – CARES Act:

Funding:  $266,044

Expenditures:  FY 2020 - Funding was utilized to achieve the governor's directive during continuous learning to maintain employee salaries and purchase of personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies.

All funds expended by June 2020.

ESSER II:

Funding:  $1,474,843

Planned Expenditures:

  • Summer School (multiple years)
    • Staffing
    • Transportation
    • Supplies
  • Additional nursing staff
  • Permanent substitute teachers
  • PPE

Plans must be submitted and approved by the State Task Force and State Board of Education.

All funds must be expended by September 2023.

ESSER III:

Funding: $2,949,318

Planned Expenditures: Plan has not yet been submitted for approval.

Plans must be submitted and approved by the State Task Force and State Board of Education.

All funds must be expended by September 2024.
