Nursing

At Andover Public Schools, our Health Room goal is to enhance your students' learning capabilities by keeping them healthy and functioning to their fullest potential in their classrooms. Our nurses and health clerks collaborate with parents, teachers, students and administrators to ensure students achieve their best possible health outcomes.

Covid information

We are continuing to provide Covid testing for students and staff by appointment only, from 6:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Schedule a Covid testing appointment

If you have a positive Covid test please send the laboratory test report or picture of the home test with your student's name and birthdate to CovidTestResults@usd385.org.

Also, please call or email your school's nurse of the positive test with birthday, name and the date of the test. In accordance with the health department guidelines, positive cases must be in isolation for 5 days following the start of symptoms. They may return on day 6. If your student has not been fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) and/or there has not been a significant improvement in symptoms it may be longer than 5 days. During this time, your student will be required to be away from in-person school and school activities. It is recommended by the CDC and the health department that positive cases wear a mask for 5 days after returning.
