General advice to prevent the spread of infection:

  • If you are sick, please stay home to prevent the spread of disease
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Wash your hands frequently, with soap, for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Disinfect surfaces
  • Ensure that ill students are kept away from other students and are sent home as soon as possible.
  • Students should not return to school until they have been fever-free and not vomiting for at least 24 hours. In addition, students diagnosed with influenza should not return to school until at least five days after the onset of symptoms.
