|Computer Application Quiz Out Offered to 8th Graders|

Andover Public Schools is offering a Computer Application Quiz Out option to 8th grade students for the 2016-17 school year. Students who pass the assessment can take a higher level computer class in high school instead of the introductory Computer Applications course.
The quiz out will mimic the high school final for the course, which consists of 125 questions where skills will be tested in:
Those students who feel they have a well-rounded understanding of these Microsoft products should consider signing up to take the test. A PASS will be awarded on the high school transcript and 0.5 credit will be earned for those students who obtain a score of 80 percent or higher.
Two sessions will be offered for the test: Thursday, Feb. 2 at Andover High School in room 504 and Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Andover Central High School in room 412. Both sessions will be from 6 to 8 p.m., allowing 30 minutes for check-in and set-up followed by the 90 minutes allowed for the exam. Students can go to either session, regardless of what school they regularly attend.
