Parents as Teachers

Parents as Teachers is an international early childhood parent education and family support program serving families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten, usually age 5. PAT is voluntary, and free of charge to families living within the Andover Public Schools USD 385 boundaries. 

Personalized visits

Personal visits support parents in their parenting role, promoting optimal child development and positive parent-child interaction. Certified Parent Educators provide individualized support and resources to help your child learn and grow.

Group connections

Group Connections are interactive, early-childhood events designed to support family development, parent-child bonding, and early learning skills. These events bring families together for educational activities and social connection.

Screenings

Screenings provide regular information about each child's health and developmental progress and increase parents' understanding of their child's development. Screenings help identify strengths and abilities as well as areas of concern.

Resource network

The program connects families to needed resources and takes an active role in the community, establishing ongoing relationships with other institutions and organizations that serve families.
